This public awareness campaign was created for the Orange County Social Services Agency to increase interest in foster care participation throughout Orange County. The campaign introduced a new, more flexible approach to fostering that allowed individuals and families to participate at different levels of commitment. Using expressive, emotionally driven photography and the message “meet the new face of fostering,” the campaign was designed to challenge outdated perceptions of foster care and present fostering as more approachable, inclusive, and accessible to a wider range of people.
