The City of Harrisonburg wanted more than just a refreshed logo, it needed a complete rethinking of how its transit system looked, felt, and communicated with the public. The existing Harrisonburg Department of Public Transportation (HDPT) brand was functional but fragmented, with outdated visuals that no longer reflected the energy or growth of the community.
The goal was clear: create a cohesive, modern identity that could unify the city’s buses, routes, maps, and signage while making the system easier to understand and more inviting to riders.
